Our Mission

As Future Foundation, we refuse to let any more lives be lost, NOT ON OUR WATCH!

We as a country must end these senseless deaths and push back this disease that is claiming a lot of the next generation. We must rise up as a community and as a nation that doesn’t accept even one suicide, together we will be suicide free by 2033, join us at Future Foundation, and let’s work together as one nation one people. THIS STOPS NOW!

We are rallying communities all over NZ to end this horrible disease that is taking the lives of too many Kiwis young and old. As the grip of this crisis tightens, stealing futures and shattering lives, we refuse to stand idly by. Led by a coalition of esteemed Kiwis, we are rallying the community to take a stand, to break the silence, and to save lives.

We aim to shine a light on this critical issue, break down the barriers of stigma, and cultivate a culture of empathy and support. Through impactful public awareness campaigns, proactive early intervention strategies, community engagement initiatives, and relentless advocacy, we are dedicated to reducing suicide rates and forging a future where mental well-being is prioritised by all.

Meet Pj Lupi

After experiencing the devastating impact of mental illness following my brain injury, I recognized the urgent need for action. New Zealand grapples with an alarming number of deaths caused by this preventable affliction, affecting individuals from all walks of life. Together, as a united community, we can combat this pervasive darkness that has enveloped our nation.

I refuse to stand idly by as our youth face the threat of self-harm. While significant efforts have been made in addressing mental health, it remains insufficient. Funds are misallocated, prioritizing trivial pursuits like sporting events or street art over the paramount task of saving lives.

The harsh reality of this crisis is acutely felt in our small communities.
